If the deck is to be attached to the house the ledger board is fixed using M10 x 150mm Thunderbolts, this board is held away from the brickwork by means of spacers to allow any rainwater to drain freely down the wall.
Joists
are fixed to beams using M6 x 100 galvanised landscape screws and beams
are fixed to support post by M10 x 220 galvanised coach bolts.
If handrail option has been chosen then newel posts are fixed to inside of framework using M10 x 160 galvanised coach bolts
